Canon's last-prior-introduced L-Series prime lens, the Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM Lens, helped set expectations for what the next one would deliver. Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM at Walmart for $624.95; Performance. In our lab tests and throughout real-world shooting, this lens proved almost as sharp as the top-grade Canon 35mm f/1.4.
